What is our auditing style and approach?
We are thorough and efficient
Most of our new customers are dreading the prospect of an ISO27001 audit. They usually come to us ill-prepared and feeling like they are drowning in the detail of the standard.
This is normal, we are used to this and we try and focus on the benefits rather than be overly critical. Our approach is to delve into the detail of how the standard is being managed, giving priority to underlying business goals and motivate this compliance.
Before scheduling the audit, we hold an initial meeting to go over the plan. An audit will typically take a day to complete and is conducted remotely via Microsoft Teams.
Any non-conformities and observations we notice during the audit will be detailed within our report, which is typically finished within the following 48 hours. It will also outlines the necessary steps for both continuous improvement and corrective action.
