Incident management & response

Our services are designed to minimise risk, especially the risk of a damaging incident.  It is too late to think about effective incident management when one occurs.  Our job is to ensure that our clients are properly prepared should one occur.

Of course, it is fairly inevitable that organisations experience incidents and breaches.  Our objective is to not only reduce the likelihood of damage but also the likelihood of them happening.

A successful incident management and response plan requires both a proactive and reactive approach to risk reduction.

Our services start from as little as £99.00 + VAT per month based upon a subscription service for a minimum of a 12 month contract. Note – the first month is free.

Our services reduce your risk of a successful cyber attack

What do we typically provide?

Cyber21 provides three levels of incident management and response.  In most cases, this service is tailored to your specific requirements.

At level 1, the service is designed for small sized businesses. We help them prepare for incidents and are available on call as and when they occur.

Level 2 is focused on being proactive, preparing for the worst but mitigating risk based upon a proven reduction approach.

Level 3 is the highest level of service that we provide.  It involves establishing a significant footprint on the clients estate, ensuring that the tools are in place to detect and respond to cyber attacks before they can damage the operations of the business.

Our incident management customers benefit from the following:

  1. Access to an experienced Incident Manager who understands how to reduce risk exposure, including mitigating risk of legislative penalties.
  2. Development of a comprehensive Incident Management Plan.  This is designed so that incidents, especially data breaches are dealt with in the most risk averse way, reducing impact and the likelihood of a damaging outcome.
  3. Direct access for all of their team members to our Incident Support Portal.  This is available 24×7 and ensures that incidents are tracked and managed effectively.
  4. The monitoring of their domain on the Dark Web.  This allows for early notification if any of the team have their data compromised through a third-party data breach.
  5. A free cyber risk assessment, allowing them to address risk factors before they result in a damaging data breach.

Note – Levels 2 and 3 offer additional benefits with more time being spent on preventative measures such as developing:

  • Business continuity plans
  • Disaster recovery plans
  • Back-up and restore plans

Note – Level 3 provides for the implementation of forensic tooling across the IT estate.  This tooling is ready to be utlised as and when a breach occurs and is designed to facilitate containment and address the challenges around root cause analysis and recovery.
